Deadly Hunta is one of the very few artists filled with creative skill and immense raw energy during his performances. He is able to fuse Dancehall, Hip Hop and Reggae, creating his own style and capturing audiences worldwide with the power of his dynamic voice and lyrics. From backing Reggae legends Buju Banton and Hip Hop legends such as Wu Tang and Ice T, to performing alongside the Supernaturals on their US tour, Deadly has built up huge credibility throughout the UK Hip Hop and Reggae scenes. This is evident from the response received after touring with DJ Skitz on the homegrown tour 2006 as well as the reaction from the crowds at the Love Box festival (which is where F$DB first saw him perform), Womad and the audience at the BBC Electric Proms. Deadly is showing no signs of slowing down, but instead speeding up his work and movement. The release of his debut single "Talk Out Load" had received massive airplay on Sky Soccer AM show, the music video for "Talk Out Load" was playlisted on MTVBase and Channel U as well as getting airplay on many of the pirate radio stations thoughout London and the UK. With various other exciting collaborations, releases such as the Photek remix of the track "Mamma Mia" on the Tekdbz inprint and performance requests coming in... Deadly Hunta has to be the UK reggae artist to keep an eye on throughout 2009. His alliance with the F4DB project has proven to be a successful one, featuring on our Fourth video single with Skinny Man, and also with his own classic piece Valley of Death, we couldn't help but feature him as much as possible on our album. Deadly Hunta is our official partner within the project and set to be a highlight within many aspects of our campaign. His new mixtape Diamond in the Dirt is due for release soon, and will be available from this site shortly.. STAY LOCKED |
